Ruhnu Island
Ruhnu is the farest island of Estonia. It´s closer to Latvian mainland than Estonian land. You can reach this exotic island by ship from Roomassaare (near Kuressaare, Saaremaa Island) or from Pärnu town in South-West Estonia. Trip lasts 1-1,5 hours.
There are some 150 local people living on island. Ruhnu is covered by woods. Only one village in the middle of island. You can see nice beach, metal lighthouse and usual lighthouse, volcano crater (very old, boggy), two churches - old and new, two shops, camping, culture hopuse etc.
